Dr. Francis Mengi has over 30 years of experience in finance and banking, including 13 years with Development international Desjardins (DID) which is a world leader in setting up and developing community finance institutions and is currently active in 30 countries.
Over the years, Dr. Mengi has held various advisory positions and management roles in financial cooperatives mainly in Canada, United Kingdom, Rwanda, Tanzania and Kenya. He holds a PhD Degree in Economics and has attended courses in Organizational Management, Change Management and Personal Financial Planning in a multidisciplinary Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree.
Joan Ambeyi has over 15 years work experience in the financial services industry. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management from University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management, from South Africa.
Joan has worked as an Operations Manager and Branch Manager for another microfinance institution in Kenya. She has good expertise in the fields of people and process management, distribution and sales generation, and business development gained through the various stages of her career.
With over 15 years’ experience, Sam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Microfinance from Kenya Institute of Bankers, and is a CPA (K) holder and a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
Sam has worked as a Manager Credit Risk, Finance Controller and Finance Manager in different financial institutions before Joining AFB Kenya Limited.
Catherine is the Human Resource Manager with over 15 years’ experience in Human Resource and Administration.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management and she is a member of Institute of Human Resource Management.
